My
name is Ashley everywhere online I am either Bookz4Nerdz or Books
Buying Beauty
I am nineteen and will soon be a junior in college. I have been blogging a little over two years now. I started blogging because I wanted to have a voice in the book community. Plus I wanted to write about my bookish thoughts where other book lovers could read it instead of in real life where no one really wants to hear my opinion (except my boyfriend).

A
book I would love to see as a movie would be....The Thief Lord by
Cornelia Funke. This was one of my favorite books back in middle
school and because of it I love Venice.
If
I was stranded on a desert island with three books I would bring;
Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince, My Side of The Mountain and
Severed Heads and Broken Hearts. Half-Blooded Prince is my favorite
book from the Harry Potter series and Severed Heads and Broken Hearts
is one of my top reads this year. I would want to have My Side of the
Mountain with me to get ideas on how to survive as well as it is a
book my mom and I read together when I was younger, so family
comfort.
I
have a favorite quote from an author and one from a book.
Author:“...so one day my mother sat me down and explained that I
couldn't become an explorer because everything in the world had
already been discovered. I'd been born in the wrong century, and I
felt cheated.”
― Ransom Riggs, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Book:
“Life is the tragedy,' she said bitterly. 'You
know how they categorize Shakespeare's plays, right? If it ends with
a wedding, it's a comedy. And if it ends with a funeral, it's a
tragedy. So we're all living tragedies, because we all end the same
way, and it isn't with a goddamn wedding.”
