Book Review:
Paradox
by: A.J. Paquette
I received this book from Book Divas (http://www.bookdivas.com/)
Paradox was a nice and quick read. I finished it in two
sittings but I am also a slow reader. The story was a very interesting one and
definitely an original idea. I have never read another book quite like it.
In the beginning while we were following Ana through the new
planet of Paradox it seemed very basic and fairly predictable. Immediately we
know there are going to be other people with Ana just because of how the ship
is laid out. A few chapters later she finds Todd. It is again made very clear
that Todd knows more than he is letting on. Take for example he knows where he
is going without the use of his map. The story goes on like this with little
hints spread through out the chapters telling us what is coming next.
What I couldn’t figure out was how the survivor’s fears were
a big part in what was happening and how they tied in with Ana’s flashbacks.
Finally the end came I was completely surprised and Paradox is definitely well
worth the read.
