Book Review: Where the Light Is by Jackson Pearce
This is a short story apart of a collection called Defy the
Dark edited by Saundra Mitchell.
I read the story as a request to Ashley to read her too
sleep. It was such a good story I didn’t notice Ashley fell asleep and I
finished the story a half hour later. It is an enjoyable and quick read and a
great choice for anyone looking to escape into another world for a bit.
When working in a dark cave and you hear a strange sound
coming from a pitch black crevice, and a hand shoots out to grab you, what
would you do??? I would bet that you wouldn’t make that the stranger in the
dark you’re best friend. As the story goes on the relationship becomes less and
less complicated until the end and they must make a choice. Will they follow
their heart or become who everyone else thinks they should be??
Find out the answers to all of these questions for yourself
and loose yourself for a half hour and enjoy a good story.
