So last night I just finished the first book of the Jessica Darling series. The Title "Sloppy Firsts" is what orginally drew me in.
The thing that made me constantly opening my Nook and continuing reading was how intense the the story line was. It was easy to relate to Jessica having had her best friend move miles away. I Enjoyed the representation of cliques in a high school setting. Having come close to the end of my junior year I wish we had someone who would write a school newspaper and be open about how selfish our generation has become like Jessica help point out.
The cliques grouping together displayed a sort of invisible barrier of not only sex and personality; it displayed how each individual could not go past the barrier and blend with other groups.
The two things I look forward to for the next book are, how Jessica and Marks relationship works after her blow-up, and what happens to the Clueless Crew and Bridget.
